Santa Claus is Coming to Town (Early)
Yes, that is right folks, Christmas comes early this year. The first gift to arrive was a new TV for the house that lacks cable. With any luck, I will be watching Thanksgiving Football in High Definition. Next in line is people coming home. Frankly, people my age in this town are scarce, and the company is welcome, particularly when it involves getting up before the crack of dawn to go shopping.
Also, food will be both plentiful and delicious, so that will cater to my carnivorous needs for the time being.
Lastly, I hope to be done with not only the LSATS, but also the majority of my applications by early December. That would probably be the best gift of all, as it would free me to earn some money, and in turn, to spend it to visit my friends.

Another UNC Visit
Here is the rundown:
Got a ride to and from Triple S who was in town for work.
Thursday:
Arrive, have dinner twice in two hours with three different women at the same restaurant. Watch college football while everyone else does homework.
Friday:
Wake up late and then try to do LSAT work. Lunch with the Don, during which we almost get blown away by high winds. Shabbat preparations, aka speed scrabble and showering. Arrive stylishly late to Hillel, but still catch all of services. Good dinner, made better by my addition of a secret flavor enhancer that I had stashed in the Hillel building the previous afternoon. Back to the ranch for chill-time.
Saturday:
Shaarei Shayna was well-attended. Breakfast on Great Harvest Bread and then a slow transition into lunch which was leftovers of dinner. Afterwards we had a slight adventure before the game, but we all made it in the end. The game! College football! Emotions! Fumbles! It was thoroughly exciting and fun, though both teams were quite horrendous, we managed to pull out a victory. The game ended after Shabbat, so we then proceeded to go out and have a delicious and fancy dinner, followed by an all-expenses-paid chocolate-covered dessert. We then fell back to more college football.
Sunday:
Pack, brunch with the ladies, where I completely forgot that I ordered a chocolate milkshake until SSS reminded me as we were leaving. Home again. More football, interrupted only by a camp shpiel.
