Recently

Talib Kweli came to the Deis with Blackalicious. They were awesome. Slighty more recently, I was possessed to become an extremely charitable person when I donated 10 hours of my time this past Sunday and Monday to charitable causes. On Sunday I participated in a Volleyball Tournament for Hunger and Homelessness awareness week. My team went 4-0 and "won" the tournament. That being said there were only four teams in the tournament and we beat all of them, the Hillel Board team twice. The next day, my Spanish Lit. Profesor was kind enough to move my midterm up by two hours so I could leave campus to go the the Patriots - Colts Monday Night Football game. Josh, Avi, Robyn and I volunteered to sell raffle tickets for the Patriots Charitable Foundation. This involved the girls selling 20 tickets and Josh and me selling one. The lady in charge of the volunteers was not the nicest in the world, Gillete Stadium would not give me vegetarian food for my voucher and it was freezing cold and windy, but I still had a good time. We saw them recording the ESPN pregame and we stood right next to the tunnel when the Patriots came out. We were done selling tickets by the end of the 1st quarter, and they packed us up at the end of the second. We were not awarded seats of course, but rather were allowed to be in standing room only, where it is really hard to see anything unless you are 7-2. The Colts ruined the Patriots, as expected.
On the topic of football, Uncle Rico presents Jonny Cash is in the second round of the IM football playoffs. Tonight we play the Tight Ends, aka the baseball team;they are going to kill us. I am going to make posts more regular. Really.
There are no pictures of the game because I forgot my camera.
