Briefs

A few things have happened in my life lately. The suite caught on fire, I went to the new Institute of Contemporary Art, was Secretly Stalked and witnessed a few interesting things on my way to finishing the semester.

The suite catching on fire was more smelly than interesting, and for those of you who are wondering, no it was not me cooking or at all, it was heating-related and not in my room.

The New ICA was a lot of fun, they gave out free colored pencils, those cubes that have pictures on them and $35 memberships. While waiting in the 2.5+ hour line the ICA staff solicited membership sign-ups which jump you to the front of the line and get you 10% off in the gift shop and the restaurant. Best hustle ever.

My Secret Stalker bought me donuts (and not that DD garbage either) and for the final gift "Birth of a Nation" by A-Mac himself. A good haul, which is nice since my Hanukkah gift is on backorder.

On the way to my Econ exam this morning I walked through the center (read: sketchy alleyways of) the science quad only to look to my right and read "Danger Radiation" all over the doors of the small building I was passing. No more than 5 seconds later I looked directly into the flame of a welding torch, wielded by some constructioneers. Having neither lost all my hair or my eyesight, I proceeded to mostly smack around my Econ exam.

I am going to Argentina on Tuesday, I intend to bring back stories and pictures.

Comments:
did you ever go back and use your membership again? also, you were a pretty good secret stalker to me. if we hadn't gone to the ICA, what would you have bought me?
